The best homes start from a blank space.
Shhoonya is the blank space, the zero. Not the absence of anything - the potential in something. The quiet before everything, the point before the first line is drawn.
In older philosophy, it's the bindu: a single dot, perfectly still, yet holding every direction it could move in. That's the idea the whole practice grew from.
Everything starts as one small point.
The point moves and becomes a line.
Lines meet and become shape.
Shape becomes a room.
A room becomes a place you live.
Nothing arrives finished — it grows, one honest step at a time.
So every project starts where the name does: at zero. A calm, unhurried place, before the mood board and the floor plan. Just one quiet idea about how your days should feel.
We're a small practice, working across interiors and landscape.
And we don't judge a home by the photo taken the day we hand it over. We judge it by how it lives on an ordinary day — the morning light, the drawer that still runs true, the corner you keep coming back to. A photograph lasts a second. A home has to hold up for years.
That's what zero becomes when you make it grow well.
From a blank space to comfortable design.
Zero → Point → Movement → Space → Home
Hover over each step and watch our logo take shape.
The Dot
Golden yellow, right at the centre. This is the singularity, the Shhoonya — the one point everything emerged from. Everything starts here.
The Squares
Four squares, four directions. They stand for the elements, balance, and how everything in a good design connects — each element telling a story.
The Lines
They reach outward, always moving — energy, good voices, conversation across the world. New beginnings, a little humility, and growth towards perfection and infinity.
The Colour
Teal — green and blue blending together. The life and energy of one, the calm and serenity of the other. Everything we believe in, and work with, in a single colour.
Affordable elegance is not a compromise.
It is the discipline of spending money only where a hand will touch it, an eye will rest on it, or a season will test it.
Empathy
We design for the person who will be tired at the end of the day.
Integrity
The drawing, the estimate and the built thing agree with each other.
Humility
The site knows things we don't. We listen first.
Transparency
No surprises. Every number has a name.
Passion
We return to a detail until it stops asking for attention.
Imperfection
A hand mark, a grain, a weathered edge. Proof a human was here.
Fragments from the studio.
